As I mentioned in my previous post I am not too impressed by the concept of (commercial) Valentine’s Day. But I still wanted to give you guys a free printable for that day or for any other day to celebrate love. This watercolour heart garland is also perfect for any other occasion that celebrates lovely people like Mother’s Day, weddings, baby showers or your baby girl’s nursery.
You can arrange your own, unique heart garland with pink watercolour and grey painted hearts and the words “all you need is love”.
Sometimes working on a post does not go as planned. A sudden decision, just before the photo shoot, to add grey hearts to the pink ones made me actually paint some of the already printed and cut hearts with grey acrylic paint. I only digitalised the paint texture later for the printable template. Usually, I have my templates finished and printed before and use them for the shoots. So the grey hearts in my images are actually really painted. I do recommend it if you need custom colours or want to have some texture.
That’s also the reason I don’t have pictures of the golden letters “all you need is love” on grey hearts. I thought of it after the photo shoot and couldn’t resist, it looks gorgeous with this little sparkle. I guess these sudden ideas and changes make creative work so interesting.

Pink watercolour hearts with black “all you need is love”
Grey painted hearts with gold “all you need is love” (not shown in the images)
1 – Download and print your favourite template or even all four of them. Cut out the hearts just within the grey line.
2 – Punch a hole on the left and right side of each heart. String as many hearts as you want. Thread a few wooden beads on each end and tie a knot. Done.
Which colour combination is your favourite? If you’ll print the grey hearts with the golden letters let me know how they turned out.
